Is the Nerf Pro Gelfire Mythic worth it at $27?

Yes. At $27.00 at Mercari as of November 3, 2026, it is near the bottom of its recent range, and it is one of the cheapest ways to get a full-auto gel blaster with an 800-round hopper.

How does it compare with the Nerf Gelfire Pro?

The Mythic adds a quick-swap 800-round hopper and an extendable stock, and it fires in both semi and full auto. The Pro is a simpler pistol-style blaster with a smaller hopper.

Do I need to soak the gel rounds first?

Yes. Gelfire rounds must be hydrated in water for about 3 to 4 hours before use. Dry rounds will not fire and can jam the hopper.

What comes in the box?

The blaster, an 800-round hopper, a removable barrel, an extendable stock and protective eyewear. Gels and batteries are not included.

Can younger kids use it?

No. Nerf recommends it for ages 14 and up, and eye protection should be worn by everyone in the play area.

Gel blasters tend to drop around Black Friday and after the holidays. The $27.00 at Mercari as of November 3, 2026 is already a low price, so it is a good time to buy.
