Our take on the Neslime 12 inch Twin Size Metal Daybed Frame

The Neslime 12-inch Twin Metal Daybed Frame is a metal platform daybed with a slatted base and an upholstered back and sides, so it works as a sofa by day and a twin bed by night. The 12-inch height leaves room for storage underneath and suits small guest rooms, home offices and kids' rooms. It ships as a frame only, so you add your own twin mattress. Ratings sit at 3.3 out of 5 from 14 buyers, which is middling for this category.

Questions and answers

Does it include a mattress?
No. It is a frame only, so you need a twin mattress. The slats mean you do not need a box spring.
What mattress thickness works best?
A standard twin mattress around 6 to 10 inches thick fits best. Very thick mattresses can sit above the upholstered sides.
Is it sturdy enough for adults?
It is a twin metal frame meant for one sleeper. It works for adults of average weight, but it is not built for heavy daily use or two people.
How much assembly is required?
It comes flat-packed and needs full assembly with the included hardware. Two people make it easier, and plan about an hour.
Can it be used as a sofa without a mattress?
No. The upholstered back and sides are designed to sit around a mattress, so it needs one to be comfortable as seating.
What do buyers say about the Neslime 12 inch Twin Size Metal Daybed Frame?
Rated 3.3 out of 5 from 14 ratings.
