Our take on the Williston Forge Twin Metal Daybed and Platform Bed Frame with Decorative Corner Posts, White

The Williston Forge Twin Metal Daybed is a white steel frame that works as a sofa by day and a twin bed by night, with decorative corner posts giving it a traditional look. It is frame only, so you supply the mattress, and it is rated for 275 lb. It suits guest rooms, kids' rooms and small apartments where one piece has to do two jobs.

Questions and answers

Is the mattress included?: No. This is the frame only, so you need a twin mattress, typically 8 to 10 inches thick for a daybed look.
What mattress size fits?: A standard twin mattress, 38 by 75 inches. A twin XL will not fit.
How much weight does it hold?: The frame is rated for 275 lb maximum.
Does it need a box spring?: No. It is a platform-style frame, so the mattress sits on the frame's support surface without a box spring.
Can two adults sit on it?: Yes for sitting, but keep the combined weight under 275 lb. It is not built for two adults to sleep on.
When is the best time to buy?: Metal bed frames tend to dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history before buying.
