Questions and answers

Is the Newone 12V saw strong enough for tree branches?

It can handle small branches and light pruning, but 12V and a brushed motor make thick or green wood slow going. For limbs over a couple of inches, a corded or 18V saw is a better fit.

What comes in the box?

The saw, one 2,000 mAh 12V battery and five saw blades. No charger is listed in the specs, so confirm with the store before buying.

Does it have a charger?

The listing names a battery but no charger. Check the product details or ask the seller, since a 12V battery is useless without the matching charger.

How does it compare with an 18V reciprocating saw?

An 18V saw cuts faster and holds power longer, but costs more and usually needs batteries bought separately. The Newone suits light, occasional jobs at a much lower price.

Is $34.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $34.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. At that price the kit is cheap for a saw, battery and five blades.

Is it safe to use?

The specs show no NRTL listing, so it has not been certified by a recognized safety lab. Follow the manual, wear eye protection and keep hands clear of the blade path.

Where is the Newone 12V Cordless Reciprocating Saw with Battery and 5 Saw Blades cheapest?

At Walmart, for $34.99, as of our latest check.
