Is the Newone Mini Circular Saw worth it?

For light cuts in plywood, paneling and trim at $56.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is a reasonable budget pick. It is not a substitute for a full-size saw on thick lumber.

With a 3.34-inch blade, expect shallow cuts, roughly an inch or less depending on the material and blade. It is not made for deep rips or thick posts.

Does it run on battery?

No. It is corded electric at 110V, so you need an outlet or extension cord, but there is no battery to charge or replace.

What comes in the box?

The saw and six saw blades. Check the listing for the blade types and any wrench or guide included.

The specs show no NRTL listing certification, so it has not been confirmed to a US safety standard like UL. Wear eye and ear protection and keep hands clear of the blade.

Only one store prices it new, at $56.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is little room to compare. Watch that listing for markdowns.

Our take on the Newone Mini Circular Saw 4.5Amp with 6 Saw Blades

The Newone Mini Circular Saw is a corded 300W tool with a 3.34-inch blade, variable speed up to 3,500 rpm, and a brushless motor, sold with six blades. It weighs 5.7 lb, so it is meant for light trim and sheet-goods cuts rather than framing. Its best new price is $56.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.
