The North Face Hike Packable Shell is a kids' rain jacket in polyester with a hood, sealed seams and a waterproof finish. It packs down small and has core vents, so it works for hikes and school runs as well as wet days. Fit is relaxed, so it layers over a fleece. It carries a modest 3.8 out of 5 from 6 ratings, so feedback is thin.
