Questions and answers

Is the OPUX lunch box worth it?
At $15.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a leak-proof, insulated tote with a strap. It suits short commutes, not all-day cooling.
How long does it keep food cold?
It is thermally insulated but not rated for a set number of hours. With a freezer pack it holds cold for a normal workday; without one, expect only a few hours.
Is it big enough for a full lunch?
It holds about 10.57 quarts, enough for a main container, a snack and a drink in the side pockets. Very large bento boxes may not fit flat.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
No. The manufacturer says spot or wipe clean, so wipe the PEVA lining with a damp cloth and mild soap.
What comes in the box?
The lunch bag and a detachable shoulder strap. Ice packs and containers are not included.
When is it cheapest?
The current $15.99 at Target is already near the bottom of its recent range. Back-to-school season is when lunch bags usually see the deepest discounts.
