Is it worth buying as a spare?

Yes if you already own ORORO heated clothing and want longer runtime or a backup. As a general phone power bank, 4,800 mAh is small for the money.

How long does it power a heated jacket?

Expect roughly two to four hours on low heat and closer to one to two hours on high, depending on the garment. Carrying a second battery is the usual fix for all-day use.

Can it charge my phone?

Yes, through its 5V output, but slowly. It is best treated as an emergency top-up rather than a daily phone charger.

Is it compatible with all ORORO heated gear?

It works with ORORO garments that use the standard ORORO battery connector. Check your garment's battery model before buying, since connector styles vary by generation.

The battery itself, typically with its charging cable. A wall adapter is usually not included.

Spare batteries tend to drop during fall pre-season sales and winter clearance. Watch the price history around those windows.

Our take on the ORORO Mini 5K Battery

The ORORO Mini 5K is a small 4,800 mAh power bank built mainly to run ORORO heated apparel, though its 5V output can charge phones too. It is pocket-sized and supports fast charging. It is a spare or replacement battery rather than a standalone charger for most devices.
