Our take on the Pabimia 14 x 12 FT Outdoor Metal Storage Shed

The Pabimia 14 x 12 FT Outdoor Metal Storage Shed is a galvanized-steel and aluminum garden shed with a sloped metal roof, double doors, a single side door, two windows and two vents. It offers 168 sq ft of floor space and about 1,058 cubic feet of volume, with a 50.8-inch-wide double-door opening tall enough for a wheelbarrow or mower. Its only recorded price is $529.99, so there is no recent range to compare against yet. Assembly is required and the finished unit weighs about 260 lb.

Best forHomeowners needing a large yard shed for mowers, bikes and tools
Buyers who want a metal floor rather than plywood or a concrete pad
Gardeners who want windows and vents for light and airflow
Shoppers comparing large metal sheds under $600
Pros
  • 168 sq ft of floor space and roughly 1,058 cubic feet of volume
  • Galvanized steel floor included, so no separate base needed
  • Double doors open 50.8 in wide and 83.5 in tall
  • Two windows and two vents for light and airflow
  • Sloped metal roof sheds rain and snow
  • Aluminum frame keeps the 260 lb shell relatively light
Cons
  • Rated 3 out of 5 from 19 ratings, so reception is mixed
  • Assembly required, and a 14 x 12 ft build is a multi-person job
  • No insulation; metal walls and roof get very hot in summer and cold in winter
  • Single door opening is only 66.1 in tall, tight for tall users
  • Only one price on record, so there is no history to judge whether $529.99 is a good deal

Questions and answers

Is the Pabimia 14 x 12 shed worth it?
At $529.99 it is cheap for 168 sq ft of metal shed with a steel floor. Expect to spend a full weekend or more on assembly, and check that local rules allow a shed this size.
Does it come with a floor?
Yes. The floor is galvanized steel and is included. It is fine for dry storage but will show scratches from heavy equipment, so a mat under a mower helps.
How big is the door opening?
The double doors open 50.8 in wide and 83.5 in tall, enough for a riding mower or wheelbarrow. The single side door is 26 in wide and 66.1 in tall, so tall users will duck.
Can I build it alone?
No. A 14 x 12 ft metal shed with 260 lb of panels and a roof is a two- to three-person job, and a calm day helps when lifting roof sections.
Does it need a foundation?
It should sit on a level, solid base such as concrete or pavers. The steel floor is part of the shed, not a substitute for a flat, drained site.
When is it cheapest?
The only recorded price is $529.99, so there is no pattern yet. Watch for spring and fall clearance events, when large sheds are often discounted.
What do buyers say about the Pabimia 14 x 12 FT Outdoor Metal Storage Shed?
Rated 3 out of 5 from 19 ratings.
