Is the 0°F rating realistic?

Treat 0°F as the extreme survival limit and 20°F as the comfort rating. Most sleepers will want extra layers or a pad below freezing.

Is it good for backpacking?

No. At about 6.6 lbs plus bulk, it is a car-camping bag. Backpackers should look at a down or synthetic mummy under 3 lbs.

How big is it inside?

It measures 90 x 36 inches, longer and wider than most standard bags, so tall and restless sleepers fit with room to spare.

Does it come with a stuff sack?

Yes, a compression bag is included. Expect it to pack down to a bulky bundle rather than a small one.

Is cotton flannel a good lining?

It feels soft and warm, but cotton absorbs sweat and condensation and dries slowly. Air it out fully after each trip.
