Questions and answers

Is the PATPET A12 worth it?
At $19.99 at Distritech as of November 1, 2026, it is a low-cost entry into e-collar training. Expect basic features: five shock levels, tone, vibration and bark detection.
How many shock levels does it have?
Five static levels, plus vibration and beep modes. That is fewer steps than many training collars, which offer 10 to 100 levels for finer adjustment.
What size dogs does it fit?
Dogs from 8 to 60 lbs, with necks from 5 to 18 inches. The 3/4 inch nylon strap suits small to medium breeds.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, the collar is listed as waterproof and safe for outdoor use. That covers rain and wet grass, but check the charging port is sealed before swimming.
How long does the battery last?
About 11 days of use per charge, and it recharges via USB. Heavy shock or vibration use will drain it faster.
Does it come with a remote?
The listing describes a collar with automatic bark detection and training modes but does not list a handheld remote. Confirm what is in the box before buying if you need remote control.
