Is it big enough for two cats?

The footprint is about 36.75 by 26.5 inches across three levels, so two small cats fit. Each cat should be under the 10 lb limit.

Can it stay outside in winter?

The roof and raised floor handle rain, but the open doors and platforms give little warmth. Add bedding and place it out of wind, or bring cats in during hard freezes.

Does it need assembly?

Yes. It ships flat and needs assembly with the included hardware. Budget an hour or two and a second person for the roof.

How does it compare with a plastic cat house?

Wood insulates better and looks nicer, but it needs sealing and can rot if neglected. Plastic is cheaper and easier to clean but holds less heat.

What size cat fits through the doors?

The doors suit average house cats, but the stated limit is 10 lbs. Heavier cats may struggle to turn inside the levels.
