Is the Philips Power Flosser 3000 worth it?

At $39.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost entry into water flossing. It suits anyone who wants a simple cordless unit and does not need app features or a premium build.

How long does the battery really last?

Philips claims 40 days, but that assumes short, low-pressure sessions. Owners report needing to charge more often, especially at the highest pressure setting.

Does it come with a charging adapter?

No. The box includes a USB-A to small plug cable only, so you supply your own wall adapter or use a computer or power bank.

Is it good for braces or implants?

Yes. The low pressure setting and targeted stream work well around brackets, bridges and implants, and Philips markets it for gum health.

How does it compare with the Sonicare Power Flosser 3000?

They are the same product line; the HX3826/31 is the standard version with two modes and three pressures. Step-up models add more modes and a premium nozzle set.

It has sold near $40 across several stores recently. Watch for bundle listings that add extra nozzles at the same price.

Our take on the Philips Power Flosser 3000

The Philips Power Flosser 3000 (HX3826/31) is a cordless water flosser with a 250ml tank, two cleaning modes and three pressure settings. Philips claims it removes up to 99% of plaque below the gumline and is up to 150% more effective than string floss for gum health. Its 40-day battery claim is based on short daily use, and it charges over USB rather than a wall plug. At $39.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range across 7 stores.
