Questions and answers

Are these curtains truly blackout?

The listing says blackout, but a linen, cotton and polyester blend without a coated or double lining usually blocks most light rather than all of it. Expect dimming, not full darkness, unless a liner is added.

What size panel should I buy?

No sizes are given here, so measure your rod and window first. For pleated panels, aim for total curtain width around 1.5 to 2 times the window width and check the drop against your rod height.

Do they work with a standard curtain rod?

They attach by grommet, so they need a rod that fits the grommet opening, typically a basic round rod. The pleats hang from the header above the grommets.

Are they safe for a nursery?

The listing marks them nursery-suitable, but keep cords and long panels out of the crib area and anchor the rod securely. A heavier blackout lining would improve napping conditions.

Is $28.75 a good price?

It is the only new price found, $28.75 at Etsy as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Check the panel size and count before treating it as a bargain.

How do I care for linen-blend curtains?

Linen blends generally wash cold on a gentle cycle or clean professionally, then hang to dry. Steam rather than iron the pleats to keep the herringbone texture flat.
