Is the Polaroid 600 worth it?

If you want simple instant prints with the classic square look, yes. If you want control over focus and exposure, a more advanced instant camera suits better.

What film does it use?

It takes Polaroid 600 square-format instant film. Each pack holds 8 shots, and the camera ejects the print automatically.

Does it have a flash?

Yes, a built-in flash fires automatically. There is no way to turn it off on most 600 models.

Can it focus up close?

No. The fixed lens is set for subjects roughly 4 feet away and beyond, so close-ups come out soft.

Only one store listed it new at $69.03 at Etsy as of November 6, 2026. Watch for seasonal sales, since there is no second new listing to compare against.
