Our take on the Polibi Twin Modern Line Upholstered Daybed with Armrests

The Polibi Twin Modern Line is an upholstered twin daybed with armrests, built on a pine wood frame and wrapped in linen-look fabric. It works as a sofa by day and a twin bed by night, which makes it a fit for guest rooms, home offices and small apartments. The 79-inch width means it needs a fair amount of wall space. No current price was available to compare against its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is this daybed worth it?
It makes sense if you need one piece to serve as both a sofa and a twin bed in a guest room or studio. If you only need a bed, a plain twin frame usually costs less.
What mattress size does it take?
It takes a standard twin mattress, sold separately. Check the mattress height against the armrest height so the mattress does not sit above the arms.
How much space does it need?
The frame is 79 inches wide, so plan for a wall at least that long plus a little clearance. Measure doorways and stairs before ordering, since a piece this wide can be hard to move.
Is the frame sturdy?
The frame is pine wood, a common furniture wood that holds up well for a twin bed. Keep in mind that upholstered daybeds are built for one sleeper, not for jumping or heavy shared use.
How do I clean the linen upholstery?
Vacuum it regularly and blot spills right away with a mild fabric cleaner. Linen-look fabric can stain, so avoid harsh solvents and test any cleaner on a hidden spot first.
What is in the box?
You get the daybed frame, armrests and the hardware needed for assembly. The mattress and bedding are not included.
