Our take on the ProForm Carbon EL

The ProForm Carbon EL is a front-drive elliptical with a 10-inch touchscreen, adjustable incline and an adjustable stride. It streams iFit workouts and trainers through the screen, and the incline lets you shift from flat to climbing motion. At $799 at Ultimate Fitness Outlet as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is the ProForm Carbon EL worth it at $799?
At $799 at Ultimate Fitness Outlet as of November 8, 2026, it is a reasonable price for an incline elliptical with a 10-inch touchscreen. Factor in the iFit membership if you want the guided workouts.
Do I need an iFit membership to use it?
You can use the elliptical manually without a membership, but the trainer-led workouts and most screen content require an iFit subscription.
What is the stride length?
The stride is adjustable, so you can set it to suit your height and walking or running style rather than being locked to one length.
How does it compare with the Carbon E7?
The Carbon EL is the lower-priced model with a smaller screen and simpler console. The E7 adds a larger display and more features for more money.
Does it fold or need much space?
It does not fold. The front-drive design keeps it fairly compact, but plan for a dedicated floor space and clearance behind it.
When is it cheapest?
Ellipticals like this usually drop around Black Friday and New Year fitness sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
Where is the ProForm Carbon EL cheapest?
At Ultimate Fitness Outlet, for $799.00, as of our latest check.
