Our take on the Puleo International Pre-Lit 3ft. Pencil Alpine Green 36 Inch

A 3-foot pencil-style artificial Christmas tree from Puleo International, built slim at 30 inches across so it fits tight corners, entryways and small apartments. The PVC branches come pre-strung with multicolor lights, so it goes up and glows without untangling a light strand. At $57.83 at Lowe's as of November 8, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track, so this is a fair moment to buy if you want a small pre-lit tree.

Best forSmall apartments and dorm roomsEntryways, porches and tight cornersShoppers who want lights already attachedA second tree for a kid's room or office
Pros
  • Pre-lit with multicolor bulbs, no separate light strand needed
  • Pencil shape at 30 inches wide fits narrow spaces
  • 3-foot height suits tables, desks and small rooms
  • PVC branches hold shape and wipe clean
  • Light enough to move and store easily
Cons
  • Only 3 feet tall, so it reads small next to a standard 7-foot tree
  • Pencil profile leaves little room for large ornaments
  • Multicolor lights are fixed; no white-light option
  • PVC rather than realistic PE tips, so it looks artificial up close

Questions and answers

Is $57.83 a good price for this tree?
It is the lowest of the three new prices we track as of November 8, 2026, so it is a solid buy at that figure. Pre-lit 3-foot pencil trees commonly sit in the $50 to $80 range, so this is near the low end.
How wide is it, and will it fit a narrow hallway?
It measures 30 inches across at the widest point. That is slim enough for a hallway or beside a door, but check you have about 2.5 feet of clearance.
Are the lights replaceable?
The tree is pre-strung with multicolor lights on the branches. If a bulb burns out, check whether the set uses replaceable bulbs and a fuse before buying, since fixed light sets are harder to service.
What is included in the box?
You get the tree sections with lights already attached, plus a stand. Ornaments and a tree skirt are not included.
Is it real-looking?
The branches are PVC, so it looks like a conventional artificial tree rather than a realistic PE-tip one. At 3 feet it reads fine from a distance but shows its plastic tips up close.
When is it cheapest?
Pre-lit trees usually drop after Thanksgiving and again in early January clearance. If you need it for this season, $57.83 at Lowe's as of November 8, 2026 is already near the low end.
Where is the Puleo International Pre-Lit 3ft. Pencil Alpine Green 36 Inch cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $57.83, as of our latest check.
