Is the MistAire worth it at $17?

At $17.00 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-risk buy for a bedroom or nursery. It is a basic humidifier, so expect simple features rather than a humidistat or timer.

How long does the tank last?

Pure Enrichment claims up to 25 hours of continuous operation on low with the 1.7 L tank. On high, expect roughly half that, and less in very dry rooms.

What size room does it cover?

It is rated for rooms up to 250 sq ft. It works best in bedrooms, nurseries and offices, and will struggle in open living areas.

Does it shut off automatically?

Yes. It has automatic shutoff when the water runs out, plus a refill indicator. There is no timer or humidistat.

Can I use it for plants?

Yes. Pure Enrichment lists indoor plants as a use, and the cool mist adds humidity without heat. Keep the mist pointed away from leaves that dislike constant moisture.

What comes in the box?

You get the humidifier, the 1.7 L removable tank and a power adapter. Filters are not required on this ultrasonic model.
