How loud is the Pyle SoundBox Splash 2?

It is rated at 3 watts nominal output through two full-range drivers. That is enough for a small group close by, but it will not carry over pool noise or a large yard.

Can it survive being dropped in water?

Pyle describes it as splash-proof with marine-grade construction, not waterproof. Rain and splashes are fine; submerging it is not advised.

How does the hand crank work?

A built-in turbine crank charges the 1400mAh battery when you have no outlet. Cranking produces a slow trickle of power, so treat it as an emergency top-up rather than a main charging method.

Does it have an aux input?

Yes. There is a 3.5mm aux-in jack alongside Bluetooth, plus a USB charging cable in the box.

Is $56.79 a good price?

Only Pyle USA lists it new at $56.79 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no competing price to compare. Check the price against other rugged speakers with similar power before deciding.

Our take on the Pyle SoundBox Splash 2 Bluetooth Rugged Speaker PWPBT75

The Pyle SoundBox Splash 2 is a small rugged Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use, with a splash-proof marine-grade housing, stereo full-range drivers and a 3.5mm aux input. Its unusual extra is a hand-crank turbine charger that tops up the 1400mAh battery when you are away from power. Output is modest at 3 watts, so it suits personal listening rather than filling a patio. The best new price is $56.79 at Pyle USA as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no meaningful recent price range to compare against.
