Is 120 ANSI lumens enough?

Only in a dark room. In daylight or with lamps on, the picture washes out. Plan on a screen up to about 100 inches in a dim room.

What size image can it throw?

RCA lists 76 cm to 406 cm, roughly 30 to 160 inches. At the 1.4:1 throw ratio, a 100-inch image needs about 10 feet of distance.

Does it stream Netflix on its own?

No. It is streaming-device ready and has Wi-Fi, so you plug in a stick or box. Check that your device fits the USB input.

Is 720p good enough for a projector?

For casual viewing on a modest screen, yes. On a large screen, 1080p models look noticeably sharper.

How long does the lamp last?

The LED light source is rated at about 30,000 hours, which is years of normal use. It is not a user-replaceable bulb like older projectors.

Budget 720p projectors like this one tend to dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. The $30 at Poshmark as of November 6, 2026 is already near the bottom of its range.

Our take on the RCA 720p Home Theater Projector

The RCA 720p Home Theater Projector is a small, light LCD projector with Wi-Fi and a built-in speaker. Its 120 ANSI lumens suit a dark room and a screen under about 100 inches, not a bright living room. The best new price is $30 at Poshmark as of November 6, 2026, which is low for a projector but in line with what this class of budget 720p model usually sells for.
