Is $103.85 a good price for the Renogy 100W panel?

It is the lowest new price among the four stores listing it as of November 8, 2026. Renogy panels of this class often sell for $110 to $150, so this sits at the low end.

What controller do I need with this panel?

It is a 12V panel with about 5A output, so a 10A or larger PWM or MPPT charge controller works. MPPT gets more out of it in low light and heat.

How much power does it actually produce?

Expect close to 100W in direct overhead sun, roughly 60 watt-hours in one hour of good sun. Output falls in shade, haze, or when the panel is flat rather than angled at the sun.

Can I mount it on an RV roof?

Yes. The 20 pre-drilled holes fit standard Z-brackets, and the panel is weather-resistant and waterproof. The fold-out legs are better for ground or tilt use than for a roof.

What comes in the box?

The listing is for two 100W 12V N-type TOPCon panels. No charge controller, cables, or mounting brackets are included.

Is it worth it over a cheaper 100W panel?

The N-type cells and 25% efficiency give more output per square foot and better heat performance than budget poly panels. If space and heat matter, it is worth the premium.
