Is the Renogy 200W kit worth it for a van build?

For a first 12V system it is a simple, complete package: panels plus a 30A controller. If you plan to expand past 400W or want maximum harvest in heat, an MPPT controller is the better long-term buy.

Do I need the BT-1 module?

Only if you want real-time monitoring on your phone. The kit works without it, but you read settings and charging status on the controller itself.

Will it charge a lithium battery?

Yes. The Wanderer controller supports sealed, gel, flooded and lithium profiles, so you set the battery type before first use.

How much power does it make per day?

Renogy estimates about 1,000Wh daily, which assumes good sun and correct panel angle. Real output drops with shade, clouds and flat mounting.

Can I add more panels later?

Yes, up to 400W total on the included controller. Going beyond that means a larger controller.

Two 100W rigid panels, the Wanderer 30A PWM controller, and the mounting and wiring hardware for a standard install. The BT-1 is not included.
