Is the Roku Select Series 4K TV worth it?

It is a sensible pick if you want a low-cost 4K TV with Roku built in and do not need premium picture quality. At $399.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so compare it with other budget 4K sets before deciding.

Is this TV good for gaming?

It handles casual gaming, but the 60 Hz refresh rate and lack of HDMI 2.1 features like VRR make it a weak choice for fast competitive play on a PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Yes, it supports HDR and HDR10+. Brightness is modest for a budget LED, so the HDR effect is subtle rather than dramatic.

You get the TV, a Roku voice remote, a stand and power cable. A wall mount is not included, and the set uses a 400x300 VESA pattern if you mount it.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes, it supports both Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. You can also use the Roku voice remote for search and commands.

Budget TVs like this usually drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $399.99 at Amazon.

Our take on the Roku Select Series 4K Smart TV

The Roku Select Series is Roku's own budget 4K LED TV, built around the Roku streaming interface rather than a separate streaming box. It covers the basics well: 4K resolution, HDR10+ support, three HDMI ports, Wi-Fi, and voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant. The panel is 60 Hz, so it suits everyday shows, sports and casual streaming more than fast gaming. At $399.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.
