Is the Roku Ultra 2024 worth it over the Streaming Stick 4K?

Yes if you want Ethernet, Dolby Vision and Atmos, a faster processor and the rechargeable backlit remote. If you only stream 4K on Wi-Fi and do not need those extras, the Streaming Stick 4K costs much less.

Does the Roku Ultra 2024 support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?

Yes. It handles Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDR10, and it passes Dolby Atmos to a compatible receiver or soundbar over HDMI. Your TV and audio gear must support those formats too.

The player, the Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition), a USB-C cable for charging the remote, a premium high-speed HDMI cable and the power adapter.

Does the remote need batteries?

No. The Voice Remote Pro is rechargeable over USB-C, and Roku says a charge lasts months with typical use. It also has a lost-remote finder you trigger by voice or from the Roku app.

Can I connect it with an Ethernet cable?

Yes. The Ultra has a wired Ethernet port in addition to Wi-Fi 6, which is useful if your router is far away or your Wi-Fi is crowded.
