Our take on the Rukket Sports SPDR STEEL 4x6 Reinforcement Net
The Rukket Sports SPDR Steel is a 4x6-foot golf practice net built for full-swing driving practice at home or in the yard. Its UHMWPE netting is UV-treated for outdoor use, and adjustable straps let you change the hitting height. It is a compact, portable option rather than a full cage, so it suits irons and wedges better than high-launch drivers.

Questions and answers
- Is the 4x6 size big enough for a driver?
- It is tight. The 4-foot height catches most irons and wedges, but high-launch drivers can sail over the top. Tee the ball lower or stand closer for driver work.
- Can it stay outside all year?
- Yes. The netting has UV protection and is rated for extreme weather. Leaving it up in sun and rain is the intended use, though heavy snow load on the frame should be cleared.
- How is it different from the Rukket Haack net?
- The Haack is a larger, bar-and-net cage aimed at full-bag practice. The SPDR Steel is smaller at 4x6 feet, cheaper, and easier to move, but it gives less margin on high shots.
- What is included in the box?
- The net, steel frame, and adjustable straps. Balls and a hitting mat are not included, so plan on buying a mat separately for indoor or hard-surface use.
- Does it work indoors?
- It can in a garage or basement with enough ceiling height. The 4-foot net will not stop a steep wedge that goes straight up, so keep clearance above and behind it.
