Is the Saatva latex topper worth it?

It is worth it if your mattress is supportive but too firm and you want a cooler, springier feel. Skip it if the mattress sags or is worn out, since 1.5 inches won't fix that.

How does Talalay latex compare with memory foam?

Talalay is bouncier, more breathable and quicker to recover, so you sleep cooler and move more easily. Memory foam sinks and conforms more but traps heat.

Will 1.5 inches make a real difference?

It adds noticeable pressure relief on hips and shoulders for average-weight sleepers. Heavier sleepers may want 2 to 3 inches.

Does it fit inside a mattress cover or under sheets?

It sits on top of the mattress and under your fitted sheet. A deep-pocket sheet helps if your mattress is already thick.

What sizes does it come in?

It is offered in Twin through King, including Twin XL and California King. This listing is the Twin.

When is the best time to buy?

Saatva discounts mostly around Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday. Check the price history here before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Saatva 1.5 Inch Talalay Latex Topper

The Saatva 1.5 Inch Talalay Latex Topper is a thin latex comfort layer meant to soften or fine-tune an existing mattress without changing its support. Talalay latex is breathable, bouncy and more consistent in feel than Dunlop, and at 1.5 inches it adds pressure relief rather than a full mattress makeover. It comes in Twin through King sizes and is a common pick for sleepers who find a firm mattress too hard.
