Is $899.99 a good price for a 75-inch 4K TV?

It is a low price for the size. Only one store, Newegg, lists it new at $899.99 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare it with other 75-inch sets before buying.

Does this TV have local dimming?

No. It is a standard LED backlight with no local dimming, so dark scenes will not have deep blacks.

What HDR formats does it support?

It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It does not list HDR10+.

Can I connect it to Wi-Fi and Ethernet?

Yes. It has built-in Wi-Fi and an RJ45 LAN port for a wired connection.

Is it good for gaming?

The listed specs show no high refresh rate or gaming features. It suits casual play, but serious console gamers should look for a set with HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz.

The listing does not detail box contents. Expect the TV, a stand and a remote; check with Newegg before ordering if you need a specific cable.

Our take on the FPD 75 Inch Smart TV 4K LED

The FPD 75 Inch Smart TV is a 2024 budget-class 75-inch 4K LED set with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, built-in Wi-Fi and a flat panel. It lacks local dimming, so contrast comes from the panel alone rather than zone control. At $899.99 at Newegg as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
