Is the Galaxy A37 5G worth $414.99?

For a Cricket customer who wants a big AMOLED screen, 5G and a 50MP camera, it is a fair mid-range buy. Only one store lists it new at $414.99 as of November 4, 2026, so compare against other mid-range phones before committing.

Will this phone work on T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon?

No. This version is locked to Cricket Wireless and is not compatible with other carriers. You would need an unlocked model to use another network.

How does it compare with the Galaxy A36?

The A37 keeps the same formula: a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, a 50MP main camera and a 5,000mAh battery. The step up is mainly the newer chip and 5G modem, so A36 owners have little reason to switch.

The phone, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a SIM eject tool and a quick start guide. There is no charger and no SIM card included.

Does it support eSIM and dual SIM?

Yes. It takes a nano SIM and an eSIM, and the Cricket listing says existing customers can move their current SIM over.

Mid-range Samsungs usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. With only one new listing at $414.99 as of November 4, 2026, watch for holiday discounts.

Our take on the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G (2026)

The Galaxy A37 5G is Samsung's 2026 mid-range phone: a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, an octa-core chip, a 50MP main camera with 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro, and a 5,000mAh battery. It adds 5G, Wi-Fi 6, an in-display fingerprint reader, face unlock and water resistance. The listing shown is the Cricket Wireless locked version, which only works on Cricket. The best new price is $414.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, and only one store prices it new, so there is no meaningful recent range to compare against.
