At $1,039.20 at Alaska Fitness Equipment as of November 8, 2026, it is a reasonable buy for a powered elliptical with motorized incline. Riders who want a long stride and incline work get the most from it.

How does the 470 compare with the Schwinn 430?

The 470 adds a motorized 10-degree incline ramp and more resistance levels over the 430. If you never use incline, the cheaper 430 covers the basics.

Does it need to be plugged in?

What stride length does it have?

It has a 20-inch stride, which fits most average and taller riders. Very short users may find it long.

What is included in the box?

The elliptical, assembly hardware and a power cord. A heart-rate chest strap is not listed as included.

When is the Schwinn 470 cheapest?
