Are Scott Recycled Paper Towels worth it?

They are a reasonable buy if you want a cheap, certified recycled bulk pack for light wiping. If you regularly clean big spills, a 2-ply towel will do the job with fewer sheets.

How do these compare with regular Scott paper towels?

Both are 1-ply and value-focused. This version uses 40% post-consumer recycled fiber and carries FSC and UL EcoLogo certification, which the standard line does not always match.

How many sheets and how long is each roll?

Each roll is about 85.8 feet long with 8.78-inch sheets, and the pack contains 20 rolls. That works out to roughly 2,340 sheets per pack.

Are these towels compostable or flushable?

They are paper and certified recycled, but paper towels are generally not flushable and should go in the trash or compost rather than the toilet.

When is the best time to buy the 20-roll pack?

Bulk paper goods usually drop during back-to-school and holiday sales and when stores run household-paper promotions. Check the price history before buying a large pack.

Our take on the Scott Recycled Paper Towels 20 Rolls

Scott Recycled Paper Towels are a 20-roll bulk pack of 1-ply kitchen rolls, each about 85.8 feet long, made with 40% post-consumer recycled fiber. They carry FSC, UL EcoLogo and EPA CPG certifications, so they suit households or offices that want a certified recycled option. The 1-ply sheet is thin and absorbs less per sheet than 2-ply towels, so you use more for big spills. Shoppers rated them 3.3 out of 5 from 270 ratings, a middling score that reflects the trade-off between value and absorbency.
