Is this mattress worth it over a new retail Sealy?

If the overstock price is well below the same model at a department store, yes. Check the cover for blemishes and confirm the warranty terms before buying, since overstock lots may not carry full retail coverage.

How firm is medium firm?

It is on the firmer side of medium: supportive for back and stomach sleepers, but side sleepers may want a topper. Expect a short break-in period of a week or two.

Does it work with an adjustable bed?

Yes. The innerspring build with a tight top is listed as adjustable-bed compatible. Avoid adding a thick rigid topper if you want the base to flex freely.

What sizes are available?

Queen, King, Full and Twin XL. A box spring is offered with it, which matters for warranty support on an innerspring.

Can I get it delivered outside Dallas-Fort Worth?

No. Delivery covers Arlington, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie and the DFW Metroplex, or free pickup at the Pantego showroom. Out-of-area buyers would need their own shipping.

When is the price lowest?

Overstock pricing moves with inventory, and the seller says stock goes fast. Ask the store directly for the current price and whether it changes with remaining stock.

Our take on the Sealy Posturepedic Tight Top Medium Firm Mattress

The Sealy Posturepedic Tight Top Medium Firm is a traditional innerspring mattress with gel memory foam and a smooth tight top, sold in Queen, King, Full and Twin XL. It targets people who want classic medium-firm back support rather than a plush pillow-top feel, and it works on adjustable bases. This is overstock inventory sold locally in the DFW area, with possible minor cosmetic blemishes but an untouched sleep surface. No current price was provided for this listing, so compare it against Sealy's typical retail for the same model before deciding.
