Our take on the SEI Furniture Horse Mountain 60-inch White Electric Fireplace with Stone Accents and Ivory Mantel

The SEI Furniture Horse Mountain is a 60-inch electric fireplace with a white ivory mantel and faux stone accents, sized at 35.3 inches high and 15.5 inches deep. It gives you a mantel shelf and a flame effect without venting, gas lines or a chimney, so it works in apartments and rooms without a real flue. The best new price is $701.72 at Overstock as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around. It is a decor-first piece: the heater supplements a room rather than replacing central heat.

Questions and answers

Is the SEI Horse Mountain fireplace worth $701.72?
If you want a wide white mantel and a flame effect without a chimney, it is a reasonable buy at $701.72 at Overstock as of November 4, 2026. If you mainly want cheap heat, a smaller electric fireplace or space heater costs far less.
Does it need venting or a gas line?
No. It is fully electric and plugs into a standard household outlet, so no venting, chimney or gas connection is needed.
How much heat does it put out?
It is a supplemental electric heater meant to take the chill off one room, not to replace central heating. Expect it to warm the area around it rather than a whole floor.
Can I use the flames without the heat?
Yes. The flame effect runs independently of the heater, so you can keep the look on in summer without adding warmth.
What are the dimensions?
It is 60 inches wide, 35.3 inches high and 15.5 inches deep. Measure your wall and floor space before ordering, since the depth is more than many media consoles.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store, Overstock, lists it new at $701.72 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for seasonal furniture sales at that store.
