Is the SENIX HI6 worth it at $359?

At $359 it undercuts most 22-inch self-propelled gas mowers, which often run $400 and up. You give up electric start and a premium engine, but the cut width, variable speed and three clipping modes are solid for the money.

How does it compare with a 21-inch mower?

The extra inch of cut width means fewer passes on a medium lawn. The trade-off is a heavier machine and less common blades, so check that you can handle the 72.8 lb weight before choosing it over a 21-inch model.

Does it bag, mulch and side discharge?

Yes. It ships set up for one mode and you switch the rear bag, mulch plug or side chute as needed. Mulching works best when you cut no more than a third of the grass height at a time.

What cutting heights does it offer?

Six positions from 1.25 to 4 inches. That range covers a low spring cut and a taller summer cut, adjusted at each wheel.

It uses auto choke and a pull cord rather than electric start. With fresh fuel and a maintained plug it usually starts in one or two pulls, but expect more effort than a push-button mower.

When is the price lowest?

Gas mowers typically discount at the end of mowing season, from late summer into fall. The current $359 at Amazon is already below the usual $400-plus for this class, so waiting may not save much.
