Is the Miramar sofa really safe outdoors?

The acrylic performance fabric and hardwood frame handle sun, humidity and occasional damp, but the sofa is best on a covered porch or sunroom. Leaving it in direct rain or full sun year-round will shorten its life.

How does it compare with a standard indoor sofa?

It sits lower and softer than a typical upright sofa, with a slight recline and tight back. The trade-off is less back support for tall sitters and cushions that need fluffing.

Can I wash the slipcover?

Yes. The solution-dyed acrylic slipcover is removable; follow Serena & Lily's care label, which generally allows machine washing on a gentle cycle and line drying. Avoid bleach and high heat.

What sizes and fabric options are there?

The Miramar comes in multiple lengths and in Perennials and Sunbrella acrylic fabrics. Check the current Serena & Lily listing for the exact dimensions and in-stock fabrics before ordering.

When is the best time to buy?

Serena & Lily runs seasonal sales, often around major holidays and at end of season. Waiting for a sitewide promotion is the usual way to cut the price.

You get the sofa frame, cushions and slipcover; legs may need attaching. White-glove delivery is typically offered at checkout for large upholstery.

Our take on the Serena & Lily Miramar English Roll Arm Sofa

The Serena & Lily Miramar is an English roll-arm sofa built for both indoor and outdoor use, with a slipcover in 100% solution-dyed acrylic performance fabric (Perennials or Sunbrella options). It pairs a kiln-dried solid hardwood frame with down-wrapped, foam-core cushions, a tight low-slung back and a slight recline for a relaxed sit. Turned legs and a pleated roll arm give it a traditional look that hides its weather-ready construction. It is a designer-oriented piece, so expect premium pricing rather than a budget buy.
