Questions and answers

Is the Serta Classic Dorian Firm good for side sleepers?
Mostly no. At a firm comfort level with a thin memory foam layer, it can press on shoulders and hips. Side sleepers usually do better on a medium or plush mattress.
Does it work with an adjustable base?
Yes. Serta lists it as adjustable-base compatible, so it can be used on a power base. It is sold as a mattress only, so the base is separate.
How many coils does the king size have?
The king has 840 coils. That is the count for this size; smaller sizes use fewer.
Is it good for couples?
It handles weight well and the coils support the edges, but innersprings transfer motion. Light sleepers may feel a partner move.
What is in the box?
The mattress only. No foundation, box spring or adjustable base is included.
When is it cheapest?
Mattress prices drop around major holiday sales and store events. The best price seen recently is $799 at Mattress Firm as of November 3.
What do buyers say about the Serta Classic Dorian Firm King Mattress?
Rated 4.5 out of 5 from 598 ratings.
