Is the $3.00 sample worth it?

Yes if you are seriously considering this carpet. It is the cheapest way to check the Autumn Barnboar color and the Titan HD Plus texture in your own room before committing to a full order.

How big is the sample?

The listing states an 8-inch sample width, and Shaw notes sample sizes vary by product. Treat it as a color and texture reference, not a piece you can install.

What is Titan HD Plus made of?

It is a solution-dyed polyester textured carpet, a fiber type Shaw uses for stain and fade resistance in high-traffic areas. Check the full spec sheet with the retailer for face weight and warranty terms.

Can I return the sample?

Return policies are set by the store, so confirm with Carpet Direct before ordering. At $3.00, many shoppers treat the swatch as a one-time cost.

When is the full carpet cheapest?

Carpet pricing depends on the retailer and installation package, not this sample. Compare per-square-foot quotes from local Shaw dealers and ask about promotions before ordering.

Our take on the Shaw Titan HD Plus

The Shaw Titan HD Plus is a textured, solution-dyed polyester carpet sold here as an 8-inch sample swatch in the Autumn Barnboar colorway. The full carpet is aimed at high-traffic rooms and is backed by Shaw's stain and fade warranties on the retail roll. The sample's best new price is $3.00 at Carpet Direct as of November 4, 2026; with only four stores listing it new, there is little price spread to compare.
