Our take on the Sirius Survival 4 Person 72 Hour Emergency Kit Survival Backpack

The Sirius Survival 4 Person 72 Hour Emergency Kit packs gear for four people into a 35L backpack, aimed at earthquake, hurricane and general disaster readiness. It includes a 72-piece first aid kit, a survival whistle and a keychain LED flashlight. The best new price is $219.95 at Sirius Survival as of November 3, 2026, with two stores listing it new. That is roughly $55 per person for a full kit, which is low for a four-person bag and reflects the modest gear list.

Best forHouseholds of four building a first emergency bagApartment and small-car storage where space is tightRenters who want one ready-made kit rather than assembling their ownBudget buyers covering basic first aid and signaling needs
Pros
  • One bag covers four people, so there is a single item to store and grab
  • 72-piece first aid kit is the most complete part of the package
  • 35L backpack is small enough to fit in a closet or car trunk
  • Whistle and keychain LED cover basic signaling and light
  • $219.95 at Sirius Survival as of November 3, 2026 works out to about $55 per person
Cons
  • Gear list is thin for 72 hours: no food, water or shelter shown in the specs
  • Keychain LED is a weak primary light for a multi-day outage
  • No radio, which most emergency guides list as essential
  • One 35L bag for four people leaves little room for clothing or medication
  • Few ratings so far (4.6 from 5), so the track record is short
