Questions and answers

Is the Sirius Survival Vital kit worth $173.95?
It is a fair price for a 96-piece kit that includes water, food, first aid and a hand-crank radio and charger. If you already own a pack and gear, building your own usually costs less.
How many people does this kit cover?
It is sold as a family kit with a three-day supply of water and food. Check the piece count against your household size; larger families may need a second bag.
Does the hand crank really charge a phone?
The crank powers the flashlight, radio and charger, but hand cranking gives a phone only a small top-up. Treat it as an emergency call, not a full recharge.
What is in the box?
Water, food, a 96-piece camo first aid kit, safety goggles, a glass breaker, and a hand-crank flashlight, radio and charger in a 20 x 12 x 10 inch polyester backpack.
When is the best time to buy it?
The best new price was $173.95 at Sirius Survival as of November 3, 2026, near the top of its recent range. Watch for hurricane-season and holiday sales, when emergency kits often drop.
