Our take on the SKYESEV MX450 Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 5 4500 RX6500XT 4G 512GB NVMe SSD 16GB DDR4

The SKYESEV MX450 is a budget gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 six-core CPU, a Radeon RX 6500 XT 4GB graphics card, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. That combination is aimed at 1080p play on esports and older AAA titles at modest settings. Its best new price is $689.99 at Newegg.com as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no competing price to compare against. At that figure it sits at the high end of what this hardware class typically costs.

Questions and answers

Is the SKYESEV MX450 worth $689.99?
That price is on the high side for a Ryzen 5 4500 and RX 6500 XT build; comparable prebuilts often sell for less. It is only reasonable if you value the prebuilt convenience and Windows license and cannot find a cheaper alternative.
Can it run modern AAA games?
It runs older and lighter AAA titles at 1080p with lowered settings. Newer games that need more than 4GB of VRAM will stutter or force low presets, so check benchmarks for the specific title you want.
Does it support PCIe 4.0 graphics cards?
No. The Ryzen 5 4500 is limited to PCIe 3.0, so a PCIe 4.0 card would run at 3.0 speeds. That matters most for cards with narrow x4 or x8 links, like the RX 6500 XT itself.
What comes in the box?
Expect the desktop tower with Windows installed and a power cable. A monitor, keyboard and mouse are not listed, so budget for those separately.
Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?
The 16GB DDR4 and 512GB NVMe SSD can usually be expanded, but confirm the motherboard's free slots and the power supply's wattage before buying parts. The listing does not specify either.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store lists it new, so there is little price movement to track. Watch for Newegg sales around Black Friday and back-to-school, when prebuilts typically get cut.
Where is the SKYESEV MX450 Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 5 4500 RX6500XT 4G 512GB NVMe SSD 16GB DDR4 cheapest?
