Our take on the MLOONG Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 5 5500 RTX 5060 1TB NVMe SSD 16GB DDR4

A prebuilt gaming desktop pairing an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with a GeForce RTX 5060 8GB, 16GB of DDR4-3200 and a 1TB NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Home. The RTX 5060 is the main draw: it handles 1080p gaming at high settings and supports DLSS 4 with frame generation. The B450M board and DDR4 memory keep the build on an older, budget platform. At $999 at Newegg.com as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.

Pros
  • RTX 5060 8GB handles 1080p at high settings and supports DLSS 4
  • 1TB NVMe SSD gives fast boot and room for a large game library
  • 16GB DDR4-3200 is enough for most games
  • 650W power supply leaves some headroom for a GPU upgrade
  • Windows 11 Home preinstalled, so it runs out of the box
Cons
  • Ryzen 5 5500 is a budget chip with no PCIe 4.0 support
  • B450M board limits upgrades and may need a BIOS update for newer CPUs
  • 8GB VRAM is tight for 1440p and texture-heavy games
  • DDR4 memory means no path to DDR5 without a new board
  • Single listed store at $999 leaves little price competition

Questions and answers

Is this PC worth $999?
For 1080p gaming, yes: the RTX 5060 and 1TB SSD cover most current titles at high settings. At $999 it is the only new price listed as of November 4, 2026, so there is no cheaper new alternative to weigh it against.
Can it run 1440p games?
It can, but the 8GB of VRAM is the limit. Expect medium settings at 1440p, or high settings with DLSS enabled.
Is the Ryzen 5 5500 a bottleneck?
Rarely at 1080p with this GPU. In CPU-heavy games like simulators and strategy titles it can hold back frame rates, and it lacks PCIe 4.0.
Can I upgrade the CPU later?
The B450M board supports Ryzen 5000 chips, so a 5700X3D or 5800X is a possible upgrade. Check the BIOS version first, since older boards may need an update.
What comes in the box?
The desktop with Windows 11 Home installed, plus a power cable. A keyboard and mouse are not listed, so plan to supply your own.
When is it cheapest?
Prebuilt prices usually dip around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the current $999.
