It froths up to 8.5 fl oz and heats up to 20.3 fl oz. That is roughly two to four drinks per cycle depending on the setting.

Does it froth cold milk?

Yes. It has hot and cold frothing modes, so it works for iced lattes as well as hot drinks.

Is the jug dishwasher safe?

The stainless steel jug has a non-stick interior and is meant to be hand washed. The base and lid should be wiped clean.

Is $249.95 a good price?

That is the best new price across the two stores listing it as of November 8, 2026. Stock is thin, so it rarely drops far below that.

How does it compare with cheaper frothers?

Cheaper frothers make similar foam. You are paying mostly for the Smeg design, the larger heating capacity and the steel jug.

What comes in the box?

The frother base, the stainless steel jug with lid and a whisk attachment for frothing. Check the listing for the exact included accessories.
