Are these worth it over prescription sunglasses?

At $9.99 they are far cheaper than a second prescription pair. If you mostly need occasional glare relief while driving or outdoors, they cover that for a fraction of the cost.

Will they fit my glasses?

They are sized small, 49-52 mm, so they suit narrow frames. Measure your lens width; on wider frames the clip-on will not cover the full lens.

Are the lenses really polarized?

Yes, the listing specifies polarized grey lenses with full UV protection. Polarization is what removes glare from roads and water.

What comes in the box?

The listing includes the sunglasses clip-on only. The count of 3 refers to the item quantity option, not three separate pairs in one box.

Our take on the Solar Shield Clip-on Polarized Sunglasses

These are rimless cat-eye clip-on sunglasses that attach over prescription glasses, with polarized grey lenses and full UV protection. The small 49-52 mm frame suits narrow and smaller eyeglass frames, and the clip-on design means no second pair of prescription shades. At $9.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, they sit at the low end of their recent range, with only two stores listing them new.
