Our take on the Solpowben Magnetic Wireless Charger 15W

The Solpowben is a magnetic pad charger that snaps onto the back of MagSafe-compatible iPhones and tops out at 15W. A folding bracket on the back lets it stand the phone upright for video calls or bedside viewing. It ships without an AC adapter, so you need a 20W-or-better USB-C power brick to hit full speed. No current price was provided, so compare it against the $15–$30 typical for 15W magnetic pads before buying.

Questions and answers

Does it charge at full 15W?
Only with a USB-C power adapter rated 20W or higher (9V/2A or better). A basic 5W brick will drop it to slow charging. No adapter is included.
Will it work with an iPhone 16 Pro Max?
Yes. It is listed for iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro Max and the 15, 14, 13, SE and 12 series. The magnet ring aligns with MagSafe-compatible cases.
Can it charge Android phones?
Not reliably. The listing is iPhone-only, and Android phones lack the matching magnet array, so alignment and charging speed are not guaranteed.
Can I use the phone in landscape while charging?
Yes. The bracket on the back props the phone up, so you can watch video in landscape while it charges.
What is in the box?
The magnetic pad and a short USB-C cable. There is no wall adapter, so plan on buying or reusing a 20W USB-C charger.
Is it worth it over a plain MagSafe puck?
If you want a stand for bedside or desk use, the built-in bracket is the draw. If you only need flat charging, a standard MagSafe pad is simpler and better supported.
