Is the SomosBeds Premier good for side sleepers?

Yes. The medium feel and memory foam layer cushion the shoulders and hips, which is what side sleepers usually need. Stomach sleepers who want a firmer surface may find it too soft.

The memory foam is gel-infused, which helps, but it is still an all-foam mattress with no coil airflow layer. Hot sleepers should pair it with a breathable cover and a cool room.

Does it work with an adjustable base?

Yes, it is listed as compatible with an adjustable base. The base is not included, so you buy it separately.

What is included with the mattress?

The mattress with its stretch-knit top cover. A foundation or adjustable base is not included.

Is it good for couples?

Yes. The foam absorbs movement, so a partner rolling over is less noticeable. Edge support is modest, so the sides feel softer than the middle.

When is the best time to buy?

Foam mattresses usually drop around major holiday sales and mattress events. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the SomosBeds Premier Memory Foam Mattress

The SomosBeds Premier is an all-foam mattress with a medium feel, a gel-infused memory foam comfort layer and a high-density foam support base. It is CertiPUR-US certified and the stretch-knit top cover works with an adjustable base, which is not included. It is built for everyday sleepers who want pressure relief and motion separation rather than a bouncy, innerspring feel.
