Is the Rockford Plush good for side sleepers?

Yes. The plush gel memory foam top cushions shoulders and hips, which is where side sleepers feel pressure. Heavier side sleepers may want a firmer model for more support.

How does it compare with an all-foam mattress?

The 1,040 pocketed coils add bounce and airflow that all-foam beds lack, while the gel memory foam keeps the soft feel. Expect less heat buildup and easier movement across the surface.

Will a king fit my bed frame?

It is a standard king, so it fits most king frames and platforms. Check the frame's weight rating, since a hybrid king is heavy.

What does the 15-year warranty cover?

It is a limited manufacturer warranty, so it covers defects such as sagging beyond a set limit, not normal softening or stains. Read the terms for the exact body-dent threshold.

When is the best time to buy?

Mattress prices usually dip around major holiday sales. Use the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the SomosBeds Rockford Plush Hybrid Mattress, King

The SomosBeds Rockford Plush Hybrid is a king-size hybrid mattress that pairs a soft plush feel with a 1,040-coil pocketed coil core and gel-infused memory foam comfort layers under a cool-touch cover. It is built for sleepers who want a soft, pressure-relieving surface without the sink of an all-foam bed. The 15-year limited manufacturer warranty is longer than the 10 years most hybrids carry.
