Is the Digital Edition worth it over the disc PS5?

Yes if you buy all games digitally and want the lowest entry price. The disc model costs more but lets you use cheaper discs and resell games, which often pays back over time.

Can I add more storage?

Yes. The PS5 has an M.2 slot for a compatible NVMe SSD, and you can also run PS4 games from a USB drive. Plan for an extra drive, since 825 GB goes quickly.

Does it play PS4 games?

Yes, most PS4 games run on it through backward compatibility, and many run better. Disc-based PS4 games will not work because there is no drive.

The console, one DualSense wireless controller, an HDMI cable, a power cord and a stand. This is a refurbished bundle, so confirm the included accessories with the seller.

Does it support 4K and 120 FPS?

Yes, up to 4K at 120 FPS on compatible TVs and games, and 8K output is supported on HDMI 2.1 displays. You need a TV with HDMI 2.1 for 120 FPS.

Refurbished PS5 prices drop around major sales events and when a newer model is discounted. Compare the current price with recent refurbished listings before buying.

Our take on the Sony 3006635/3005719 PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console

The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is Sony's disc-free PS5, model CFI-1015B, with an 825 GB SSD, a 3.5 GHz CPU and support for up to 8K output and 120 FPS on compatible games. It ships with one DualSense controller and plays the same PS5 library as the disc model, but games are bought and downloaded only. This listing is a refurbished unit, so the price should sit well below a new disc PS5; check the current price against recent refurbished listings before buying.
