The Sony RF912RK is an over-ear wireless headphone set built for TV listening, not for phones. It uses a 915.5–916.5 MHz RF base station instead of Bluetooth, so audio reaches up to 45 m through walls and stays in sync with the picture. A 40 mm driver covers 20–20,000 Hz, and a built-in mic plus a volume remote let you take calls and adjust levels from the couch. The battery runs up to 13 hours and takes about 7 hours to recharge. At $17.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under the $50–$80 this model has typically sold for.

Owners generally like the long range and simple TV setup, and many use it to hear dialogue clearly. Complaints center on battery life fading over time, the slow charge, and a somewhat plasticky build.
