Is the Stanley FatMax Tool Bag worth it?

At $74.92 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a 26.5 L bag in 600 denier fabric with a waterproof base. It suits buyers who want a durable carry bag rather than a hard, lockable case.

How much weight can it hold?

Stanley rates it to 20 kg (about 44 lb). That covers a typical hand-tool set plus a drill, but a fully loaded bag is heavy to carry by strap.

The 26.5 L main compartment takes hand tools and small power tools, and the multiple internal and external pockets hold screws, bits and small parts. It is not sized for large power tools like circular saws.

No, it is a carry bag with a rubber-grip handle and a shoulder strap. For rolling transport, look at a wheeled tool bag or box instead.
