Is the 12-pack worth it over buying single boxes?

If you need more than a few boxes, yes. Buying 12 at once usually costs less per box than singles, and you get a matching set that stacks evenly.

Are these boxes airtight or waterproof?

No. The lids latch down but have no gasket, so they keep out dust and light, not moisture or humid air. Store damp-sensitive items elsewhere.

How much does each box hold?

64 quarts, about 16 gallons. That is roughly a queen-size comforter or several sweaters, and the box fits standard closet shelves.

Can I stack them full?

Yes, the flat lids are made for stacking. Keep heavier boxes at the bottom and avoid stacking above eye level when full.

What are the dimensions?

Sterilite lists the 64-quart latching box at about 23.6 by 16.4 by 13.5 inches. Check your shelf depth before buying a set of 12.

When is the price lowest?

Bulk packs like this tend to drop during back-to-school and post-holiday storage sales. Compare the per-box price against single 64-quart boxes before buying.

Our take on the Sterilite 64 Quart Latching Plastic Storage Box, 12 Pack

The Sterilite 64 Quart Latching Box is a clear plastic storage tote with a hinged lid and two latch handles, sold here as a 12-pack. Each box holds 64 quarts, roughly 16 gallons, which suits blankets, clothing, holiday decor and garage odds and ends. The clear sides let you see contents without opening, and the flat lids stack. A 12-pack is a bulk buy for a whole house, garage or move rather than a single-room purchase.
